Tarmac’s Mountsorrel Quarry are proud to have been able to sponsor Quorn Juniors Football Club helping them get off to a flying start to the new season.
The sponsorship of the club started in 2014, with the company’s long-term commitment to the team meaning that every year, over 300 local boys and girls, between the ages of 5-18, have been able to participate in the sport.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Steve Bennett, the Quorn Hounds Under 13 Manager said; “We’re thrilled that even in these difficult times, Mountsorrel Quarry has once again agreed to support us, to the immense benefit of the local community.
“Their commitment means that the children can participate in the sport they love – guided by fully licensed FA local community coaches. The club coaches and the welfare officers support the young people by providing role models and mentoring under the terms of the FA Charter Standard affiliated club scheme.”
Trevor Warren, Works Manager at Mountsorrel added: “We’re delighted to sponsor Quorn Juniors Football Club again this year. It’s tremendous to see so many children taking part in local sporting activities – and to be able to support the local community in such a positive way.”
