Hemelite Coursing bricks are a traditional medium density, lightweight aggregate brick designed to be used with the Hemelite range of blocks. Their versatility makes them an ideal range to be used for all kinds of construction. They are ideal for maintaining coursing heights, avoiding thermal bridging, infilling and minimising wastage.

Infill

Hemelite coursing bricks can be used for infill to maintain coursing heights. They can also be used around openings such as windows and doors helping to achieve desired thermal values.

What standards are HEMELITE blocks manufactured to?

Hemelite blocks are manufactured to BS 771-3, normal or Cat II level of confidence of manufacture and may be specified for use with BS5628 Code of practice for the use of masonry, All dimensions are to tolerance level D1.


What strength coursing bricks are available?

Hemelite coursing bricks are available in 3.6, 7.3 & 10.4N/mm2 compressive strengths. They have a proven high level of technical performance being manufactured to a premium quality.
