Cemscreed 5 is a special cement based binder for producing a rapid drying floor screed when mixed with graded aggregates and water.
The screed is suitable for foot traffic after 12 hours and is sufficiently dry to receive all types of floor covering after 5 days.
Cemscreed 5 can be used to produce bonded, unbonded or floating screeds for internal applications where early foot traffic and quick drying are required. Floor coverings such as ceramic tiles and natural stone tiles to be laid within a matter of days.
Where can Cemscreed 5 be used?
Internal floors
Cemscreed can be used for repair or laying new floors in schools, supermarkets and domestic properties.
Underfloor heating
Cemscreed is suitable for use over underfloor heating systems.
Repair work
Cemscreed can be used for the rapid repair of existing floor screeds.

Packaging and Storage - Tarmac Cemscreed 5 is available in nominal 20kg sacks, palletised and shrink wrapped. Tarmac Cemscreed 5 may also be available in Intermediate Bulk Containers or in Bulk Powder Tankers.
Palletised Tarmac Cemscreed 5 should be stored in cool dry areas clear of the ground, sheeted or under cover and stacked not more than two pallets high.
The product should be used on a first in – first out basis. Shelf life is minimum 3 months when properly stored but could be in excess of 6 months subject to temperature and humidity.
