TRUBED Cement Bound Sand

TRUBED is a correctly proportioned factory mixed stabilised cement bound sand. It is a semi dry cement bound sand mixture, typically supplied in a 14:1 ratio.

Overview

The Cement Bound Sand range (CBS) of Trubed, pre-blended, factory mixed semi-dry products has been specially developed for use in a wide range of building and civil engineering applications. Trubed CBS sand products are available nationwide and can be delivered in bulk tipper loads or in convenient bulk bags.

Please note: Tarmac Trubed CBS (with the exception of Trubed Eco) contains a retarding admixture in order to remain workable for up to 12 hours.

Tarmac TRUBED ECO is a factory mixed, semi-dry lime: sand mixture with a long shelf life meaning it can be stored and used over a longer period.

Tarmac TRUBED is a correctly proportioned factory mix semi-dry, cement sand mixture from 1:3 to 1:20 cement:sand by volume can be supplied. Tarmac TRUBED is workable for up to 12 hours.

Tarmac TRUBED UTILITY is a correctly proportioned factory mix semi-dry 1:14, cement sand mixture. Fully compliant sand and cement blend certified to ENA Technical Specification 97-1. TRUBED UTILITY is workable for up to 12 hours and is specified under National Grid Specification.
